No 4th of July makes me sad.  Amazing setlist besides though.  Beyond the Wheel surprised the hell out of me too.

I can only BE so jealous. Obviously, you would have to play in the place where you played, but damn if a Texan can't weep for missed opportunities.

Killer Set List...wish I could have been there.  I even considered walking out of work and driving the 2 hours down to see them.  I was stuck at work today following threads, on twitter, facebook, this site...was going nuts trying to find a way...did not get any work done today...LOL  I so love Soundgarden...my top 5 since 1989.

Man, what a setlist....Hunted Down, Good Eye, Pretty Noose, Rusty Cage, Black Days & Big Dumb Sex!!!!!!  AWESOME!!!

I was lucky enough to get to go - scored tickets with the "secret" code I got in my email at 10:10 am this morning - set was so awesome, perfect venue too! Loved every minute of it - almost 2 hours and vibrating the hell out of the Showbox.

I got the same email, and just remember thinking how sad it was and how immediately I would have jumped a plane in my youth on the OFF chance of actually getting in. Being a grownup sucks.

I was there. till the end just standing outside. I thought for sure they would let some people in.... I could hear the show well though. knew what they were playing and they all sounded great. just fucking great. hope next time I get a chance to go inside. Great opportunity though, they brought out Merch to the fans outside as well. got a shirt and poster. Gonna wake up bright and early to pick up the Vinyl for record store day.

I honestly can't believe this. I know that they didn't want any cameras inside but I kind hope someone snuck one in there to let us get the slightest glimpse of amazement!!!! Hurry and post on Youtube people!!! 

Absolut brilliance. Cornell sounded great, and the energy was fantastic. for a second there, i was 14 again. I wish all of you could have been there.

Crazy setlist, huh????? I know what a Doors fan you are and that cover must've been just crazy mind-boggling good! Not to mention the rest of the setlist! I have been playing Screaming Life all day yesterday, thinking that they would play that stuff since they are releasing the vinyl today.  I can't even think what it would be like to see/hear that live!!!!!

I've never been this jealous :/ Why do I live in Sweden?! Should've been in Seattle! I seriously thought of flying there, but I wouldn't have made it anyway =(

that setlist was perfect, except last song that I don't know... I would rather another song like "the day I tried to live" to end the show... or "tears to forget" to forget these 13 years without soundgarden, since 1997

I didn't get my email until 3:30 p.m. but I guess it wouldn't have matterred anyway since I'm on the East Coast...lol. If I had 24 hours notice, I would have jumped on a plane to be there! I hope they do this again ina  small venue in NYC *HINT*

Ha! Big Dumb Sex. I think that song is the one they hadn't played for the longest among the rest on the setlist. Actually it might be Ugly Truth, whatever. I wouldn't call it a dream setlist, and it isn't that surprising since they played the majority of those songs a lot live. But it is a pretty good mix for a reunion gig.

I'm in Portland, and I'm so devastated that I missed this. I've been waiting for this for sooo long, and to have had the chance to see them in a small venue... I got the email at 12:17, while I was in a meeting at work, but from what I've read, it was already sold out by then anyway. I hope they do some kind of a repeat performance (hey guys - Portland is just down the road!).

Whatever happens, this is one of the best things to happen to the music world in a LONG time!

"Beyond the Wheel" ?! How did Chris' voice sound? I was listneing to that song yesterday and couldn't believe some of the notes he was reaching back on the recording in '89.

Amazing setlist. I'm happy to see they played a lot earlier stuff and then a mix of BM through DOTU.
